Tennessee State University Hosts Groundbreaking AI Educational Evaluation Review
Nashville, TN – Tennessee State University’s SMART AI for All Applied Research Center is leading a transformative effort in artificial intelligence in education by hosting one of the first-ever AI Super User Educational Evaluation Reviews. This historic event brings together 65 educators from across the nation, representing a variety of disciplines from higher education, to assess the latest AI tools and their potential to revolutionize teaching, learning, research, productivity, and workforce preparation.
Using the SREB AI Commission Quality Standards as a guiding framework, the initiative addresses critical issues such as bias mitigation, safety, privacy, legal and ethical use, and the equitable application of AI in educational settings. This forward-thinking approach marks a shift from theoretical AI discussions to practical evaluations of its real-world effectiveness and impact.
