This guide aims to help students and faculty safely and ethically "P.A.C. it Up!" when using AI tools for academic purposes. The term "P.A.C. it Up" stands for Prompt, Assess, and Cite, which are essential steps for effectively using AI in research and education.

About Mr. Marcus Horton

Marcus Horton is an esteemed Academic Technology Coach at the SMART Innovation Technology Center located at Tennessee State University. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Marcus brings a wealth of expertise in various fields such as graphic design, creativity, training, and development. In his current capacity, Marcus conducts monthly sessions for students, staff, and faculty to enhance their technology application skills in higher education. The extensive sessions cover a wide range of topics, including the essentials of the Apple ecosystem and efficient learning techniques for Microsoft, Google Artificial Intelligence.  Marcus is also student persuing his degree in Information Technology while continuing his career development in the Smart Center. He is a part of the Inaugural Cohort of the TSU A.I. Student Fellows, focused on research development for the ethical and appropriate use of Artificial Intelligence by students in Education.
